Summary: Pro subscriptions can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase or renewal by contacting Paddle directly. After 14 days, refunds are not available. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Paddle, our payment processor.

1. Who handles billing

NotificationVault Pro subscriptions are processed and managed by Paddle.com Inc., our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, VAT/tax compliance, receipts, and refund processing on our behalf.

When you subscribe, you enter into a billing relationship with Paddle. All payment data (card details, billing address) is held and processed by Paddle — NotificationVault does not store or access your payment information.

2. 14-day refund window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date or most recent renewal date.

To request a refund within 14 days:

  1. Contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/support, or
  2. Email us at support@4191.ch with your Paddle order reference number and the email address used at checkout.

Refunds within the 14-day window are typically processed by Paddle within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.

Important: After a refund is processed, your Pro subscription will be cancelled and the app will revert to Free tier functionality on the next launch. Existing notification data is not deleted immediately — the standard two-launch grace period applies before the 5-day retention cut takes effect.

3. Requests after 14 days

Refund requests received more than 14 days after the purchase or renewal date are not available.

If you believe you have been charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), please contact Paddle at paddle.com/support or email support@4191.ch with your order reference number.

4. Subscription cancellation

Cancelling your subscription is separate from requesting a refund. You can cancel at any time through:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund for the current billing period unless you are within the 14-day window described above.

Partial refunds for unused time in the current billing period are not issued unless required by mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

5. Free tier and trial

NotificationVault includes a free tier and a 5-day Pro trial on first install. No payment is required to use the free tier or the trial. Refunds do not apply to the trial period, as no charge is made during the trial.

6. Consumer protection rights

Nothing in this policy limits or waives any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with statutory cooling-off or refund rights, those rights apply regardless of the terms above.
