Common Topics
Calendar access
CalendarDeduplicator requires permission to access your calendars in order to work. You can review or change that permission at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars. If access has been denied, the app cannot list your calendars or analyse them.
Backups and restore
CalendarDeduplicator creates a local backup before deleting events. Available backups can be reviewed and restored from the Backups section of the app, where you can restore a whole backup or pick individual events.
Pro subscription
CalendarDeduplicator Pro is managed through the Mac App Store. If you already subscribe but the app does not show Pro — for example after reinstalling or signing in with a different Apple Account — use Restore Purchases in the app. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple Account.
Privacy
Calendar processing takes place locally on your Mac. For the full details of what the app reads, what it stores locally and what it does not send anywhere, see the Privacy Policy.
Help inside the app
CalendarDeduplicator includes a built-in Help section, available from the Help menu. It covers scanning calendars, reviewing duplicates, backups and restore, the Free and Pro versions, permissions, settings and troubleshooting. It is often the quickest way to find an answer.
